Recently, I have not been able to use my scanner because the VCI keeps disconnecting. The scanner does not see the USB connectivity either.

This is frustrating me. I have written to Autel support but no response. I really don't know what to do.

     Hello,

try to connect the Maxisys with wireless to the internet.

Then open the VCI "App".Then  click on update, then connect the VCI with the USB cable.

It should be come a information about a update and then only follow the steps.

It should update the VCI and finerly it should work again by connecting to the OBD connector.

Hope this helps and give a feedback, thanks.

    Greetings Mathias

Thanks for the response. I have tried but the scanner is not seeing the VCI connected
via usb. Keeps showing disconnected. The update will not work,

    Anything else I should try?

    Thanks,
    Kachi.

Did you ever figure out the issue with the vci? Mine is doing the same thing and I just got mine.

I too have had this problem. Hopefully this helps someone. I had to connect the vci to a pc and download the autel software suite and perform a firmware update to the vci. Then in-pair it from the scan tool bluetooth and re-pair. Everything started working again.
